Christ is Risen!
Easter is a sign of hope, renewal, and life - even where darkness and suffering are present. In these days, we especially think of Ukraine and the people who fight daily for their freedom, dignity, and right to live in their own country.
Our gratitude goes to the Ukrainian armed forces, who today are the most reliable guarantors of peace and protection for the population.
We all desire peace. Yet peace is not always possible without sacrifice.
That is why the resurrection of Christ is for us a powerful sign - a light of hope and faith in the victory of life over death, of light over darkness, and of truth over violence.
May this light strengthen us, unite us, and guide us towards a just peace.
