Children’s Aid Ukraine Rhine-Neckar for Novohrad-Volynskyi
Children’s Aid Ukraine Rhine-Neckar, based in Ludwigshafen, has fostered youth work and understanding between Germany and the Ukrainian partner town of Novohrad-Volynskyi since 2014. It organises holiday encounters for children and has provided humanitarian aid since 2022.
Children’s Aid Ukraine Rhine-Neckar for Novohrad-Volynskyi was founded in 2014 (registered on 5 December 2014) and is based in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. It is a member of the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Germany.
The association promotes youth work, education, art and culture, and understanding between Germany and the Ukrainian partner town of Novohrad-Volynskyi (Zviahel). A key focus is international holiday programmes and youth encounters.
The association regularly organises holiday activities for children and young people — including war orphans — as well as cultural and information events. In 2024 it celebrated its tenth anniversary.
Since the Russian war of aggression began in 2022, the association has provided financial and organisational humanitarian aid. In 2025 it ran a summer camp titled “A Break from the War” for children from Zviahel and continuously collects donations for Ukraine.
